To do
Last updated on October 26, 2026
The To do view lists every operation whose status has stayed "Upcoming", to keep an overview of the interventions still to be carried out on your hives and apiaries.
On the mobile app
In the Browse → To do tab, find the operations not yet marked as done, grouped by apiary.
Operation status: "Upcoming" / "Done"
Every operation recorded in ApiTracer has a status — Upcoming or Done. This status lets you:
- Plan an intervention ahead of time (inspection, treatment...) by creating it right away with the "Upcoming" status, even before it has been carried out.
- Track progress across the operation at a glance: the To do view only shows what's still pending, with no need to browse the entire operation history.
Once the intervention has been carried out, switch the operation back to "Done" status (Operations): it disappears from the To do view but stays visible in the calendar and the hive's history.
How do I make sure nothing is forgotten when tracking a beekeeping herd?
Between routine visits, treatments to repeat, and interventions decided on the spot during a visit, it's easy to lose track of what's left to do when tracking relies only on memory or scattered notes. Good practice is to note down an intervention as soon as it's decided, even if it hasn't been carried out yet, so it can be found later in a single list. That's the principle behind the To do view: an operation created with the "Upcoming" status stays visible there until it's actually carried out, which removes the need to rely on memory to know what's left to handle on each apiary.
