Traceability

Traceability relies on storage codes (drums, pots) that link each container to the honey harvested after extraction. The Storages view lists all these codes with their contents and status.

On the website

Storage codes are accessible from Documents → Storage code.

On the mobile app

In the View → Storages tab, find the complete list of your storage codes with their contents and status.

Why does honey traceability matter?

Tracing honey means being able to link any jar or drum sold back to the harvest and the hives it came from — a common-sense requirement in case of a health issue or an inspection, and a mark of trust for an operation's customers. ApiTracer builds this traceability chain from the harvest gesture through to the sale: every storage code keeps the link to its origin, whether it was entered manually, by extraction period, or by fill-up.
